FaceReader Mount – Smart Holder for Facial Recognition Devices
FaceReader Mount is a custom-engineered mounting solution designed to securely install facial recognition devices in access control and security environments. The project combines precision CAD design with rapid 3D printing technology to create a durable, lightweight, and reliable holder that maintains optimal device positioning for accurate facial recognition.
The holder was developed to ensure compatibility with multiple facial recognition devices while simplifying installation and improving long-term operational stability. Multiple prototype iterations and functional testing were performed to validate durability, alignment accuracy, and reliable performance in real-world deployments.

My Role
I independently led the project from concept through final deployment. My responsibilities included mechanical design, CAD modeling, prototype development, 3D printing, hardware assembly, functional testing, design optimization, compatibility validation, and final implementation. I refined the holder through multiple iterations to maximize stability, durability, and ease of installation while ensuring consistent device performance.
