- Short DescriptionDeveloped an AI-powered workplace safety monitoring system using computer vision to detect safety violations, such as workers not wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). The system analyzes camera footage in real time to identify potential hazards, monitor safety compliance, and support faster incident prevention.
The AI Workplace Safety Monitoring System is an intelligent video analytics solution designed to improve workplace safety by automatically detecting safety violations and identifying potential hazards using artificial intelligence and computer vision.
I developed the system to analyze live camera feeds and video recordings to monitor workers and check whether they follow required safety measures. The system can be designed to detect missing personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety helmets and reflective vests, helping identify unsafe conditions in workplaces, construction sites, factories, and industrial facilities.
The solution uses AI-based object detection and video analysis to identify workers, recognize safety equipment, and detect potential non-compliance with workplace safety requirements. When a violation is detected, the system can generate alerts and record relevant events for review by safety officers.
I focused on developing the AI detection logic, integrating video streams, processing visual data, and designing the system workflow for monitoring and reporting safety violations. The system can also be extended to support event logging, violation history, visual dashboards, and real-time notifications.
This project demonstrates my practical experience in artificial intelligence, computer vision, deep learning, video analytics, object detection, and intelligent surveillance systems. Its main objective is to help organizations improve safety awareness, reduce risks, and support more efficient workplace safety management.
