Vehicle Rooftop Surveillance Camera Mount (VRSCM)

Vehicle Rooftop Surveillance Camera Mount (VRSCM) is a custom-engineered mounting solution designed to securely install surveillance cameras on the rooftops of operational vehicles. The system provides a stable, durable, and vibration-resistant platform that ensures optimal camera positioning for continuous monitoring, recording, and AI-powered video analytics.

The mount was designed using advanced CAD software and manufactured from high-strength aluminum to achieve an ideal balance between durability and lightweight performance. Precision CNC machining and laser cutting techniques were used to produce high-quality components capable of withstanding demanding outdoor environments and continuous vehicle operation.

Key Features

  • Custom rooftop mounting solution for surveillance vehicles.
  • Lightweight and durable aluminum construction.
  • Stable and vibration-resistant camera platform.
  • Precision-manufactured using CNC milling and laser cutting.
  • Corrosion-resistant design for outdoor environments.
  • Optimized camera positioning for surveillance and AI vision systems.
  • High structural strength with minimal added vehicle weight.

My Role

I independently managed the project from concept through manufacturing. My responsibilities included mechanical design, CAD modeling, material selection, structural optimization, manufacturing planning, CNC and laser fabrication coordination, prototype evaluation, testing, and final validation. I optimized the design to maximize stability, durability, and long-term reliability while minimizing weight.
