ExitGuard AI – Emergency Exit Monitoring System

ExitGuard AI is an intelligent computer vision platform designed to continuously monitor emergency exits using existing surveillance camera infrastructure. The system applies advanced AI and deep learning models to analyze live video streams, ensuring emergency exits remain accessible and compliant with safety regulations at all times.

The platform automatically detects blocked emergency exits, unauthorized use, and other safety violations in real time. When an incident is identified, instant alerts are generated and delivered to the appropriate personnel, enabling rapid response and improving overall building safety and operational awareness.

My Role

I independently led the project from concept to deployment. My responsibilities included solution architecture, AI model development, computer vision algorithm design, software engineering, camera integration, real-time analytics implementation, system optimization, testing, validation, and deployment. I designed the solution to deliver reliable continuous monitoring while maximizing detection accuracy and operational efficiency.
